Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, The Union of Azerbaijan Artists, Shamakhi Regional Executive Authority, Ismayilli Regional Culture Office, Azerbaijan State Art Gallery and Khatai Art Center announce “My Shamakhim” drawing contest among children, teenagers and youth related to the “Year of Nasimi”.

Children, teenagers and youth under the age of 29 can participate in the competition. Participants must send their names and surnames birth date contacts school names and photos of their 3 works to the Khatai Art Center until April 6 2019. Whatsapp: 00994513107401

The competition will consist of 2 rounds.
The works of the 1st tour will be exhibited in Shamakhi and later in Baku.
Participants will be awarded with diplomas. The author of 20 selected works will be invited to the “My Azerbaijan” Children`s drawing festival.

The image of the great Azerbaijani poet Imadeddin Nesimi.
Art samples from Shamakhi (carpet, potter, tinker .
Historical monuments of Shamakhi and samples of local cuisine.
Depiction of old clothes.
A depiction of music and various art tools characteristic of Shamakhi region.
A depiction of Shamakhi`s genius personalities.
Military patriotism theme.
Depiction of the region, the street, the yard and the nature.
Depiction of the images of different occupations ( milkman, carpet-maker, shepherd , driver)
The works will be exhibited at the Baku Khatai Art Center and Cultural Center in Shamakhi.
