Drawing contest was announced  "My Shamakhim" among children, teenagers and youth in the Shamakhi city within the framework of "Nasimi Year" organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, Shamakhi City Executive Authority, Ismayilli Regional Culture Office, Azerbaijan State Art Gallery and the Khatai Art Center.The final exhibition of the drawing contest "My Shamakhim" was held on May 14 at Heydar Aliyev Park in Shamakhi city.About 70 children, teenagers and youth from Shamakhi city participated in the competition.The participants depicted the great personalities of Shamakhi, mainly the image of the great Azerbaijani poet Imadaddin Nasimi, historical monuments, examples of art and images of various professions.The authors of the selected works and active learning centers were awarded diplomas and awards at the exhibition.The author of 20 works was invited to the competition to be held within the framework of the "Azerbaijan" children's drawing festival.

During the event, the master class of the honored artist Natig Safarov and the concert program of the regional music collectives were presented.
