By organization of the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery and Khatai Art Center, with the support from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Education of the Centre for Child Development no 3, Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Closed Joint-Stock Company, Khatai District Executive Power, the Union of Azerbaijan Artists, the exhibition dedicated to “28 May-Republic Day of Azerbaijan” was organized the framework of the “Year of Nasimi”. With the purpose of  developing creative ability and artistic pleasure, stimulating their creativity, forming children’s cultural attitudes in all spheres and thereby improving  the manner of approaching, instilling a sense of love for the homeland and native country of talanted children. The announced exhibition within the framework of II Republic children’s painting festival “My Azerbaijan”’ competition’s the final exhibition was held. Children 12 years old and under it was happened May 20, 2019 16:00 pm(4:00 pm) and  between 12-17 years old children’s final exhibition was happened May 21, 2019 16:00 pm(4:00 pm)

Generally, to the competition was sent art works by 1065 children of all age categories. The first choice for exhibition was invited 160 art works of children 12 years old and under, 170 art works of children who are between 12-17 years old was invited for being exhibited.

Ten works  from all ages categories which were chosen  from children’s painting competition “Spring is coming to our country” and  33 works from competition of “My Shamakhi” which was held in Shamakhi with children were invited for exhibiting, too.  

 A lot of Art agencies and The Children’s Art School of Lankaran, The Children’s Creative Art Studio of Khatai, The Children’s Art School no.4, Vafa Art Studio, The Young-Child Development Center no 1, The Children’s Art School named after A.Bakikhanov of Sumgait, A Middle School no 108, New Generation Education Center, The Children’s Art School of Gandja, The Children’s Art School no 1, The Children’s Art School of Shamakhi, “Rengli duygular” art studio, The Children’s Art School of Shaki, The Children’s Art School of Republic, The Knowledge Learning Center were actively participated in exhibition, especially.

The Artists of exhibited works and an active education centers was awarded with diploma and certificates of appreciation. The rewards of different organizations’ nominations was presented,too

 The festival which was started with plein air painting in the yard of Khatai District Executive Power will be completed with buffet, going to museum, dinner and musical rewards ceremony.

 The closure of festival will be held at Khatai Art Center and participants of festival will be awarded additional certificates.
