The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery, the Azerbaijan Office of the International Watercolor Society (IWS Azerbaijan) and the Khatai Art Center have started the 1st Baku International Watercolor Festival "Caspian Waves" as part of the Year of Volunteers. The festival will include master classes by well-known Azerbaijani artists working in watercolor technique.
The first master class of the festival will take place on August 14 at 12:00 with the participation of artist Jalal Agayev on the "Zoom" program.

Besides that the festival is held to increase interest in watercolor paintings, as well as to show the world the nature, historical monuments, culture, as well as modern development of Azerbaijan in the works of artists working in this field of fine arts.

As part of the festival, a master class by artist Jalal Agayev will be held on the online program “Zoom”.
