A virtual exhibition on the occasion of the 100th   anniversary of Ahmadiyya Jabrayilov will be held.
A virtual exhibition on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the legendary partisan Ahmadiyya Jabrayilov  according to the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated August 11, 2020 organized by the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery and  with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be held on August 11, 2020, at 17:00.  The exhibition is held to commemorate to the memory of partisan Ahmadiyya Jabrayilov. Ahmadiyya Jabrayilov  was a prominent member of the anti-fascist resistance movement during II World War. Ahmadiyya Jabrayilov went to the front voluntarily in 1941 to defend the country. Later he became an active participant in the French Resistance Movement. Ahmadiyya Jabrayilov was awarded orders and medals of the French state. Ahmadiyya Jabrayilov's son Mikhayil Jabrayilov is one of the first National Heroes of Azerbaijan. The exhibition is held to commemorate to the memory of partisan Ahmadiyya Jabrayilov. Ahmadiyya Jabrayilov  was a prominent member of the anti-fascist resistance movement during II World War. His photos from the family archive and  II World War period paintings selected from the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery fund will be demonstrated in the exhibition.  The march "Gospel of Victory" (Lyrics: Rahman Mammadli, soloist: Anar Mammadov) was used in the presentation by winner of the patriotic song contest, young composer Tural Mammadli. You can watch the exhibition from the social media accounts of the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery.
