Established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 3, 2020, November 8 - Victory Day is solemnly celebrated every year to perpetuate the victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, which has become a celebration of the strength of our people and national pride  intended to be made.  Inspired by this great victory, Azerbaijani artists are creating valuable works of art dedicated to the theme.

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the support of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery and the Khatai Art Center will hold a Republican Creative Exhibition "Victory Courage" on November 6, 2021, dedicated to the anniversary of our victory in the Patriotic War.

The exhibition will glorify the natural beauties of Azerbaijan, especially the liberated territories, and demonstrate in the works of art the unparalleled heroism of the brave Azerbaijani army under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the great historical victory.

The exhibition is open to local and foreign artists, sculptors, graphic and watercolor artists over the age of 18.

Rules of participation:

To participate in the exhibition, photos of the works must be sent to [email protected].

When sending the work, a quality photo of the work should be taken (2-5MB), the author's name and surname, the name of the work, the size should be noted.

100 works will be exhibited at the exhibition.

The selection will take into account professionalism, originality of the theme and idea.

The exhibition will feature classic works by well-known artists on the subject.

Participants can submit a maximum of 3 works to the exhibition, but based on the selection, only one work will be displayed at the exhibition.

Deadline for submission of photos of works: October 10, 2021 until 18:00

The works to be exhibited will be selected by a jury formed by the organizing committee and announced in advance.

The list of artists participating in the exhibition will be shared on October 15, 2021 on the official website and social media accounts of the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery and Khatai Art Center.

Selected works must be submitted to the exhibition hall on the 3rd floor of the Khatai Art Center by October 30, 2021.

Authors of exhibited works will be awarded certificates.

The exhibition will be held at the Khatai Art Center.

The exhibition is planned to be held in accordance with the quarantine rules adopted by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.
