A memorial day dedicated to the memory of People's Artist Boyukaga Mirzazade will be held.

With the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery, organized by the Museum Center on November 3, 2021 at 14:30 in the Museum Center will be held a memorial day in memory of the outstanding representative of Azerbaijani art, People's Artist Boyukaga Mirzazade.

The event will be held to promote the rich heritage, creativity, life and work of the artist, who made a worthy contribution to the development of fine arts in Azerbaijan, and to commemorate his memory.

Boyukaga Mirzazadeh was the author of numerous works of machine painting, graphics, stage design.  His creativity was influenced by the traditions of European painting and Azerbaijani national art.

He worked on the landscapes of Azerbaijan, portraits of people who have made a great contribution to the development of culture, art and music of our country, and achieved great success in the field of theater and decoration.

The artist's activity has always been in the center of attention of the Azerbaijani state and he was awarded high orders and medals of the time, honorary titles.

The event is planned to be held in accordance with the quarantine rules adopted by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Admission is by invitation only.
