"Watercolor Impressions" watercolor exhibition will be held

On January 23, 2022, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan and the State Art Gallery of Azerbaijan, a watercolor exhibition "Watercolor Impressions" will be held on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the International Watercolor Society (IWS Globe International Watercolor Society).

To participate in the exhibition, you can send a quality photo and information of your watercolor works to iwsazerbaijan@gmail.com.  The information must include the name, surname, title of the work, size.

Several works can be sent, between which 1 or 2 works will be selected for the exhibition.

The selection will be made by the Artistic Council of IWS Azerbaijan.  The works must not have been exhibited at IWS Azerbaijan and must have been shot in the last 3 years.  Copies of other artists are not accepted.

Deadline for applications: December 30.

Delivery of works: January 20

Content and measurement are free.

Technique: 90% watercolor paint on paper.

The exhibition will be held at the IWS Khatai Art Center.  Participants will receive gifts and certificates.  An electronic catalog will be prepared.

IWS Globe (International Watercolor Society) is an international watercolor society founded in 2012 by watercolor artist Atanur Dogan.  It currently includes branches and organizations from more than 120 countries around the world.  Representations of the IWS Globe Network and organizations included in the international network regularly organize international events related to watercolor art.  The purpose of these events is to bring together watercolor artists, share creative experiences, communicate, popularize and disseminate watercolor art.  "Watercolor language" unites artists from all over the world.  IWS Globe's motto is "Peace through Watercolors", which aims to unite artists from all over the world, regardless of nationality or religion.
