A commemorative event dedicated to the memory of Boyukaga Mirzazadeh, a prominent representative of Azerbaijani art, was held at the Museum Center on November 3 with the support of the Ministry of Culture, organized by the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery and Museum Center.
The event was held to promote the rich heritage, creativity, life and work of the artist, who made a worthy contribution to the development of fine arts in Azerbaijan, and to commemorate his memory.
Director of the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery Galib Gasimov greeted the guests and spoke about the work of prominent artist Boyukaga Mirzazade. He noted that the artist has left a rich heritage of Azerbaijani culture with numerous works of machine painting, graphics and stage design.
The artist's activity has always been in the center of attention of the Azerbaijani state and he was awarded high orders and medals of the time, honorary titles.
An employee of the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery Vagif Mugalli made a presentation on the life and work of the artist.
The event was held in accordance with the quarantine rules adopted by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.
