An exhibition entitled "Victory Courage" was opened at the Khatai Art Center on the occasion of Victory Day, organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, the Baku Art Gallery, the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery and the Khatai Art Center.
Director of the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery Galib Gasimov noted that the exhibition was dedicated to the 44-day Patriotic War and the brave Azerbaijani Army.
Honored Art Worker Ziyadkhan Aliyev, Professor of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts Samadaga Jafarov, Director of the Baku Art Gallery Eldaniz Babayev, Director of the Khatai Art Center Zahid Avazov and artist Yusif Mirza shared their impressions of the works on display at the exhibition.
More than 200 works were submitted to the exhibition in electronic form by 156 authors, and 45 works by 39 authors were selected for display in the exhibition.
The exhibition will last until November 12.
