The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan State Art Gallery of organized a master class on "Digital caricature art" by graphic designer and illustrator Mahir Gafarov on March 4, 2021 within the "Digitalart-lab" project. The master class was held to show the development trends of digital caricature art, the application of modern tools and methods used in this field, as well as to support the creativity of artists working in this area. During the meeting the artist informed the participants about the history of Azerbaijani caricature art and the development trends of digital caricature art. In modern times, the digital caricature art is developing under the influence of new approaches in the work of artists and designers. The master class was held in accordance with the program for the participants of the “Digitalart-lab” project through the “Zoom” program.
